Assalamoualeikoum,
I am a finance student and largely interested in Asset-/ Wealth Management. As I researched I found multiple Western Banks- and Asset Manager that offer Sharia Compliant Asset Management. Would it be permissible to work in such a position for such a bank or Asset Manager? Also, is it permissible to do internships at a non sharia compliant Asset Manager for the sake of gaining experience and then switch to an islamic Bank or Asset Manager asap?
