Working in a video streaming company that will also do betting as one of its sources of income

Assalamu’Alaikum,

I would like to get a scholarly viewpoint of whether I should be continuing to work at my current company.

The company I work for provides a video streaming service which is not related to betting. However, they look to be hiring/making moves into doing betting as part of their income. They also will get income from the video streaming service itself too ( as well as some others that aren’t haraam ).

I am a software engineer working on the video streaming service - which has not got anything to do with the betting side. Would this be deemed unacceptable?

I should also note that they haven’t yet (may not even) started offering any betting services, but they have hired a very senior person who has a background in betting - which makes me think that this is what they are going down the route towards.

May Allah bless you.
As longer you are not yourself involved in the haram activities and that the majority of the source of income of the company is not from haram, then its fine.
