Ways to find out if a stock is shariah compliant or not

Assalam u Alaikum

I am from USA and dipping my feet in stock investing. I wanted to know if you knew of a credible app or a place where I could find which stocks are halal to invest in, or maybe you guys could guide me. I have gotten various answers on stocks being halal from one app and another website, so was confused if the that stock was halal or not (example Pfizer).
