Salaams, I am currently setup with Fidelity SIPP and looking to invest into a ETF fund. I came across Vanguard FTSE All-World UCITS ETF (VWRL) which has listed top 10 holdings of :
1 Apple Inc
2 Microsoft Corp
3 Amazon.com Inc
4 NVIDIA Corp
5 Alphabet Inc Class A
6 Alphabet Inc Class C
7 Tesla Inc
8 Meta Platforms Inc Class A
9 Exxon Mobil Corp
10 UnitedHealth Group Inc
They seem to have Total no. of equity holdings 3673.00 with 99.97% stock investments.
There are a couple of things I am struggling with.
a) The most common question asked here is , is it halal?
b) how to understad what the annual growth would be if things were good?..assuming I am aiming to hit 5% annual growth
fidelity seem to have a section on faith based investing but these dont fall under their top 50 recommendations, and the morningstar raitings are low. Mongst these i found sharia complient funds:
Oasis Crescent Global Income Fund
iShares MSCI World Islamic UCITS ETF USD (Dist)
As you can probably read from approach I am new to investing and pensions. I would really much like to connect with like minded individuals and form a working group.
