I was interested in finding out if it is permissable to invest in companies like Tissue Regenix (TRX) a UK listed company. There are many similar companies the world over.
It develops products from other peoples and animal skin and tendons etc. by stripping the cells and dna out so it is decellurised and leaving a scaffold for the recepient’s own cells to populate. Some of the uses - for hernias, dental work, surgery to remove cancer tissue where bone and tissue has been cut out etc. It can provide a very good repair and healing after such traumatic surgery/injury. Some of the products are from porcine so that is likely to be not permissible what of the use of human and animal tissue is this permissible?
It is only selling these products for surgery. So another way of looking at it might be it is allowed to sell but the surgery is not allowed using these products?
