Temporary investment in interest bearing cash fund

My pension provider (L&G) only provides one shariah-compliant option i.e. HSBC Islamic Global Equity index fund.

Keeping current market volatility, I have moved some of the allocation to a cash fund to preserve the capital that will attract nominal interest.

Is my practice acceptable with a view that I will be giving away any interest earned in charity?

May Allah bless you.
No you shouldn’t move your fund to interest bearing instruments, even if you have no intention of taking the interest earned.

And Allah knows best!
