I have two job offers. Both are for software support. One is with a company that helps life insurance and financial companies “We automate processing for every stage of the business - from pre-sales, new business and underwriting to policy administration, point-of-sale execution, post-sale support and data analytics”. As it would involve supporting software that does underwriting, is this halal?
The second offer is with a child company of the London Stock Exchange, this company “helps firms to reduce operational and regulatory risk through a range regulatory reporting, reference data and analytics solutions.”. Would this be halal as it is only involved in reporting and not the actual selling of stocks and shares?
