Ideally, anyone interested should evaluate the stock to ascertain its Shariah-compliance, as these companies are typically not Muslim-run and have business practices that a minority shareholder can’t alter. If one has sufficient voting power, however, they should express their concerns about any non-ethical or non-Shariah-compliant practices.
