Asalam alaikum,
I’m a university student and thinking about future careers. I was looking into spring weeks which are essentially insight weeks. I’m pretty sure they don’t involve any actual work in the company. Having said that, I know that investment banking is generally best to stay away from, from a shariah perspective and I know that and don’t intend on entering that industry. However, I do want to get some corporate experience to have on my CV so I can find a job easier in the future as an investment bank may be attractive as a name. Is it allowed to do a spring week in an investment bank given that I won’t be doing any work there just things like observations and team projects with other spring insight students.
