I’m a full time software engineer and planning to open a cake shop as a side hustle. I cannot actively be a part of the business so I will be a silent partner with a non muslim friend. I will be making 100% investment though. Now the cake shop has some chicken patties that could be non halal although the franchise says its halal. Does it make me a sinner being part of a business that sells a little bit of non halal? There is no way to definitely prove that the chicken is halal.
