Assalamu alaikum rahmatullahi wa barakatuh,

Should I ONLY purify dividends in order to ensure/make that my income is halal?

For example: If i bought iShares MSCI World Islamic UCITS ETF (https://www.ishares.com/uk/individual/en/products/251394/ishares-msci-world-islamic-ucits-etf?switchLocale=y&siteEntryPassthrough=true#purificationDataDialog), then the ONLY thing I should do is to calculate the dividends received with the purification amount ,as mentioned in the Purification Data (which is also in same website)? Is there any thing else I should do of?

May Allah bless you.
If you are investing in a shariah compliant fund, then you must take guidance from their shariah board on this matter, as they will be better place to tell you how to purify the dividends or whether it has already been purified before it is distributed to you.

And Allah knows best!

Is purifying the dividends received the only thing to do in order to get halal income?
