I have BP shares. My brother says they are Shariah compliant after he analysed reports/data etc. Zoya and Islamicly say they are non Shariah compliant. Is my brother correct as he does not use apps to screen sharers for Shariah compliance?

Maybe your brother is correct, but you should ask him how did he come to this conclusion.
Yes, Zoya and Islamicly are not Quran that we must follow everything they say. However, if someone does not know how to read financial statements, then they have better chance of investing in halal stocks based on the suggestions of Zoya and Islamicly rather than trying to work out by himself.
