On the ifg website it says that ifg owners (mohsin and and his friend etc) agree share trading is halal. But for any type of trading you have to use cfds or spread betting. And mufti faraz adam said cfds and spread betting are haram. So my question is how come share trading halal but using cfds for other assets is haram such as commodities, forex or crypto when they are all operated with cfds.

A person can trade in shares without using CFDs and spread betting. If you trade in shares, you should not use derivatives to trade. You should invest in the actual shares.
