Selling Financial Planning Software to Advisors

Asalamu Alaykum,

I am looking into applying for a job at a company that creates financial planning software and services for financial planning (Insurance, savings, mortgage planning etc.). The job would be to sell this software to financial advisors so they can advise their clients on saving, insurance, mortgage, retirement, etc. Is the job of selling this software and directing customers to these financial advisors permissible?

I think this role would be problematic as you are essentially selling a product that will facilitate the advisors to sell haram products.
If you desperately need this job to support yourself financially, then apply for it until you find something more suitable.
