Ruling on haircuts

Salaams,

What is the ruling on haircuts?
Are we allowed to have different lengths of hair (short back and sides) according to the hanafi school of thought?
If a skin fade is completely haram then is a 0.5 fade halal?
or does all hair have to look And be one length?
