Regarding purification amount in an islamic equity fund

Assalamualaikum
If i invest in an islamic equity fund lets say HSBC or ishares, which are shariah compliant. Do i need to do the purification personally? If so how do infind out how much to purify ?
Or will their own sharia board do the putification automatically ?

You should see the fund prospectus and Shariah certification. Generally, it will inform you if the purification is done or not.

If you have to do purification, then there are several posts on purification in the forum which would be good for you to review.
