I would like to start a push-to-win machine business, the idea of this business is that people pay to start the machine, then they try to push a prize off, if they hit it they win but if they don’t they get nothing. Is this kind of business permittable if it’s purely dependent on skill not luck?
Wa alaykum salaam,
What are people paying for? What do they get in return of their payment?
Assalamu alikum,
They pay for an attempt of the machine and in return if they win they get the prize they pushed.
I would avoid. This is just gambling.
It requires skill though, so does this differ from gambling?
This does not seem Shariah compliant by the manner you’ve described it.
I would recommend to abstain from this.
