I have recently discovered a feature on a dropshipping site called cjdropshipping.com that allows you to pre-order inventory and have it stored in one of their warehouses. When you get an order on one of your dropshipping stores, you simply put in their address, and CJ will handle the delivery of the item for you. This method means the product is owned by the individual before selling and their is a risk imposed on the individual.
There is also an option to pre order inventory for 30% of the price and only paying the full amount when someone orders a product.
Is this halal?
