Aslam o alekum,

I have critical insurance cover with my work i get this at a reduced rate but i have to pay a monthly fee is this halal

i have private medical insurance with my work my work pays for it but i have to pay the tax on it is this halal

In the event of my death my work will pay 4x my salary to my spouse if im still working for them, this is a free payout and i dont pay any monthly contributions towards this is this halal

Such insurance products are not Shariah compliant.

Please can you confirm the in the event of death the free pay-out that’s not shariah compliant also.

Wa alaykum salaam,

Such a payout for which you are not actively contributing to and is free, will be permissible to benefit from.
