Assalamu Alaikum,
Apologies if this isn’t the right place to be posting this. I’m in the market for a new position and wanted clarity on whether working at financial institutions that don’t specialize in either investment banking or conventional banking is permissible. Two companies that come to mind are Brookfield Asset Management and State Street Corporation.
I want to clarify that the roles I’m looking at are in cybersecurity and have nothing to do with finance.
