Permissability of Actuarial Analyst/Actuary Role

1. Is working as an Actuarial Analyst/Actuary in insurance permissable? e.g. Life Insurance, Car Insurance e.t.c.

2. Is working as an Actuarial Analyst/Actuary outside of insurance permissable? e.g. Pensions e.t.c.
