Is payroll accountant job haram?
Duties include:
-Calculate net salaries considering deductions and TAX withholdings;
-Ensure payroll and tax documents are accurate.
-Ensure compliance with governmental laws on payroll accounting and taxes
-other duties directly related to payroll duties calculating salaries, recording payroll expenses, oversee paychecks, maintain payroll files
Payroll department (accountants) issues tax relates slips of the employee to the employee and to the government, which has infirmation about salary and how much taxes employee anticipated to pay to the government/or how much of salary was withhold by the employer as a tax.
Is this kind of profession is haram because of the tax calculation/withholding/recording in the books and documents?
