Salam IFG,
I am working at an online car listings company in a web development role. I would categorize most of my work as unproblematic alhamdulillah - making design updates, adding new features to the platform etc.
However, we have a project coming up to update the “monthly payment calculator” on our site, which supports users in estimating their monthly car payments if they were to take an interest based loan. I am wondering how this project affects the permissibility of my current job.
Can you please provide an Islamic perspective on this situation? JazakAllah
