Hello,
I’m am interested in doing PhD in machine learning with applications in Finance. It involves deep learning, asset management, portfolio management, optimization.
One PhD professor has this area of work:
Previously Ali was Managing Director and Global Head of Quantitative Strategy at DV Trading, LLC, and a Partner and Head of Analytical Trading Strategy at Caspian Capital Management, LLC. Prior to joining Caspian, he worked in a variety of quantitative positions at Morgan Stanley, Banc of America Securities, and Prudential Securities. Ali was also a Fellow at Courant Institute of New York University in the Mathematics of Finance Program from 2004 to 2014.
Ali’s research interests are algorithmic trading, machine learning, deep learning, data mining, optimization, and computational and quantitative finance. His focus has been on machine learning applications in finance, specifically in asset management, and also on developing learning algorithms for signal extraction from data.
And another one is this,
Agostino’s research interests are in networks, systemic risk and financial stability, and market microstructure. Topics of recent interest also include financial robo-advising, the analysis of cryptocurrencies, and the performance analysis of deep neural networks. Agostino maintains collaborations with the main regulatory agencies tasked with risk monitoring and policy making, including the Department of Treasury’s Office of Financial Research, the Commission of Future Trading and Commodities, and the Federal Reserve Board. Agostino’s research has been presented at major finance conferences, including the Utah Winter Finance Conference, AFA, EFA, FIRS, and the SFS Cavalcade North America Conference.
And this is the last,
His research focuses on quantitative behavioral finance models that incorporate human emptions and psychology into financial decision making, and on intelligent wealth management solutions using optimal control and machine learning techniques.
Whom do you think is the halal one for me?
