I am applying for insolvency & restructuring jobs in corporate finance. I believe that working as an insolvency administrator may involve doing debt restructuring on behalf of the companies to ease pressure from the creditors. I know that part of debt restructuring involves negotiating lower interest payments, etc. This would be a small part of the job role.
Is working in Insolvency halal?
