I have been trading forex with a company called FTMO for the past few months and I am recently having doubts on whether this is haram or not. I signed up with them and had to take a test which I paid around 200 euros for, and once I passed the test they provided me with a 20,000$ account to trade with. I only trade currencies on the platform and this company provides all the capital, leverage etc. I also pay no swap fees. During the end of each month, there is a profit split which is split 70/30 between me and the company.
They also have a 10% drawdown limit and your account gets suspended if you ever reach this, but you wont have to pay anything back as the company covers all the losses, so as long as you pass the test it is essentially a win win situation for the trader.
I just wanted to know if working with this company is halal?
