Is using wahed invest compulsory in order my income to be halal?

Salam alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh,

Let’s say that I want to invest in a Sukuk ETF. So, can I choose a broker, other than wahed invest, and invest through it, and that my income will be halal? In other words, do I need wahed invest to ensure that my income is halal? (Because if my income is not halal, then I think it’s fund managers will ensure that my income is halal)

Second question, what if the broker that I will choose is haram? Like, it deals with interest, etc.

Jazak Allah khair. May Allah reward us all the highest level of paradise.

Wasalam

May Allah bless you.

  1. It is not compulsary to use Wahed to invest in halal fund.
  2. If the broker helps you find a halal business to invest in, then it is fine.

And Allah knows best!

Jazak Allah khair for your reply. But i think, generally, a broker would not help me find the halal business or a shariah-complaint asset. I have to it by my self or through an app which helps me to find the shariah-complaint assets.
