I’ve applied for a job in a call center for an airline. From what it seems everything is halal except one. If an airplane is overbooked and the client calls us before the flight, because they can’t check-in online we aren’t allowed to tell them that it’s overbooked. We have to tell them to go to the airport 2h before the flight for a free check-in. In the airport they will be told that the flight is overbooked and the can ask for a reclaim.
I don’t know if this counts as lying and deceiving de clients. Would it be halal?
