I have got a new job as a Pensions Reconciliation Analyst working for Prudential in order to reconcile their migrated data, part of my job will require me to analyse the data they hold in their new database, compare it to the old database data and correct/adjust interest payable to their customers where there was an error when the data was migrated over.
That will be a part of the job in addition to the normal financial data quality and reconciliation of their migrated data on the customers in their pensions schemes.
Is this job halaal and ok for me to do in your opinion and why?
