My job involves calling people who have applied for loans and it is my job to check their credit score if they qualify for the loan. The company charges them interest on the loan. I am struggling find something else and this is what I got after a long time. Please let me know

Yes that is correct.
You should not work for such company as it provides interest based loans.
However, given the circumstances you have mentioned, keep the job for now, until you find something else as soon as possible. Also ask Allah to help you find something halal and decent inshaAllah.
