Is it permissible to work as a risk engineer in an insurance company?

I graduated with a bachelors degree in mechanical Engineering. I got a job with an attractive salary in a General insurance company as a risk engineer. My job as a risk engineer is to assess and mitigate risks in assets of policy holders. Is it permissible for me to work here?

May Allah bless you.
It all depends on the role involved, but many scholars do not see working in the conventional insurance industry as permissible irrespective of the role.
