Is it halal to work in the IT department of a wholesale lending mortgage company, such as United Wholesale Mortgage based in Michigan, USA.
Sometimes I feel like there is not blessing in working there but I am not sure…

Most scholars would discourage you from working in a conventional bank regardless of your role.
There are scholars who are of the view that as long as your particular role is halal, then your income will be lawful. However, working in such an industry is definitely not the best choice and you should look to work in a company whose core services and products are halal.
