Is it halal to sell insurance?

Assalam u alaykum.

I have a very important question for me,

Currently I am a broker and I sell insurance policies for different companies.

There are convencional and non islamic companies.

Is it haram ?

May Allah bless you.
Conventional insurance is considered as impermissible by most scholars.
Working as a broker selling non shariah compliant contracts will also be considered as being impermissible.
Best to find another suitable halal job and leave this one as soon as you are financially able to.
