I am newly married. My husband lives abroad and I live in the UK. We are working on being together but this will take at least 6 months. I have a good job and he doesn’t. He is expecting me to carry out my obligations as a wife such as informing him before I leave the house etc yet I’m struggling to understand how he is meant to give me money for my accommodation, travel, needs etc as is his duty. He hasn’t given me anything and I’m spending from my own salary. I also still live with my parents until we can be together. The question is does he have the same obligation to pay for my expenses even though we are in different countries?
