This includes developing and maintaining the hardware and software systems necessary for the fintech’s operations, such as databases, networks, servers, and cloud computing resources. They ensure these systems are secure, scalable, and reliable, given the critical nature of financial transactions and data.
If the fintech company is engaged in financial services considered haram, then the involvement in supporting the company’s operations, even in a technical or infrastructural capacity, could potentially align with supporting activities that are not permissible. This would raise concerns regarding the permissibility of such employment or support from a shariah perspective.
