Assalamu Alaikum,
I am trying to get braces and the dentist told me the treatment is going to take around two years. He gave me two options to pay: either pay $6450 upfront or pay a total of $6800 in instalments over two years. No interest is included and the money is taken out of my bank account automatically.
Is the second option halal or haram?
