Would it be permissible to invest in companies in the eSports or blockchain gaming or game development field?
These are fastly growing industry and hence i wanted to check the sharia compliance of companies involved in these activities.

Games are of many types, and can be permissible or impermissible depending on content. Although I’m not personally in favour of gaming culture and nor do I find it to be a productive activity nor a healthy activity for people, it would be difficult to say it is outright impermissible.
Contemporary screening criteria and screeners have made exceptions for sports channels from the media and entertainment industry. Therefore, it might not be realistic nor accurate to say esports and games development sector is banned as an equity. However, I would still encourage you to invest elsewhere out of prudence and from an “impact” point of view.
