Does Zilliqa remain halal?

Assalamu Alaikum
Dear Shaykh,

I hope you are doing well.
I am very new to this platform.

“Zilliqa (ZIL)” has been mentioned as a halal currency on Islamic Finance Guru’s halal crypto list.

But will it be halal after this update?

“Zilliqa tokenises rare single-malt scotch whisky casks, now available to accredited investors on Hg Exchange”

I purchased some ZIL coins a few days ago and I staked them. If you say it’s haram, then I will just sell them.

One brother from our telegram group said the following:

“ Zilliqa can be used to tokenise many things. It’s technology. If a halal/haram company uses it then that doesn’t impact whether the coin is halal/haram”.

The problem is: Zilliqa ITSELF tokenized whisky.

Dear shaykh,
If you say it haram, then I will let him know too InshaAllah.

Jazakumullah khayran for your kind help.
May Allah reward you immensely.

Kind regards
