Salam alaikum, day trading needs very volatile instruments, you also need a high leverage. The most ideal markets for this are futures and forex.
Considering that these two markets are haram, what options do we have left? I have thought about cryptos, trade the btc/usdt, when I want to sell short then I would buy the usdt/btc.
The problem with this is that it is also impossible without leverage, unless you have a large capital. this makes day trading under sharia law not possible for the vast majority
My question is in what market or instruments could we operate under the sharia? I am honestly thinking of abandoning trading and going to ecommerce.
