Assalamu Alaikom,
Are taxes on transactions permissible? Some coins have a percentage taken on each buy/sell (1% or more) in order to pay for the development of the project, adding to the liquidity, and marketing.
But let’s say I am a developer building a project, and included a 2% tax on each buy and sell (1% dev fee, 1% liquidity), is the 1% to the dev and his team considered: “devouring one another’s wealth illegally”.
I tried to look for similar questions, but only found a topic talking specifically about reflections, and no details on taxes themselves.
