Credit Score Rating

Assalam Aleikum

I am new to the UK and keen to build my credit score within the limits of shariah.
How does one go about this without engaging in interest based borrowing?

Hello Brother
Thanks for asking this question.
Even having such intentions is a great sign.
Im new to the US and I founded an alternative method to generating a Credit score without these interest based earnings.
Before i continue just make sure to always do your research.

So the system is same whether it be US or UK, first of all make sure you dont even own a credit card and YES! you dont need a credit card as upon my research and listening to a world renounced scholar Dr Zakir Naik, even owning a credit card can be considered haram unless if it was needed and you had no other choice.

So do this try to search for Online Resources that will report your transactions to your bureaus.
I found one online that works in the UK

Try to search more like this.
Just make sure you try and yes you will inshallah find it.

I did something like that and used a online tool that works in the US and I just have a debt card. Even though others around me told me to get a credit card I didnt.

And now when my credit got generated after 6 months, I have score of 647 which is higher than most of the people here and prior to this I never even had any employment experience in this country. So you can do it.

Hope that answers the question

Kindly just search and search and INSHALLAH you will get what you need.

Understanding your credit score rating is crucial for financial well-being, especially when it comes to securing an apartment lease. It’s a numerical reflection of your creditworthiness, influencing your ability to secure loans, mortgages, or even rent an apartment. Factors like payment history, credit utilization, and length of credit history impact your score. Regularly monitoring and managing your score can help you maintain financial stability and access better opportunities, including a favorable credit score for renting an apartment, often with the help of an informative website. Educating oneself on credit scores empowers individuals to make informed financial decisions and build a solid financial future.
