Compensation from a bank

Is it permissible to accept compensation from a bank after I made a complaint? They locked my account and did not unlock it even after I provided them with further information. The compensation is for the worry and inconvenience caused.

In my opinion, yes it is permissible to take a valid compensation from a bank.
