Salaam mufti faraz, hope you are well.
I have read iohk is releasing a protocol which would allow borrowing and lending called marlowe on the cardano blockchain.
After more research i have found that marlowe is blockchain agnostic and is not limited to cardano blockchain and is like a external language for financial contracts that can be used and implemented on cardano and other blockchains .
Is it ok to stil invest in cardano?
Marlowe was released by a company (iohk) who founded cardano called and is generally governing the cardano platform.
Salam
update i have just found that you could also do the same financial contacts on plutus (the more general smart contract language equivalent to ethereums solidity) but just in a more simple way and easier way for non tech savy people who dont know how to programme language in to smart contracts.
So in essence marlowe is only for people who not experts and can execute contracts only for specific financial contracts.
Plutus you can also do the same plus more general contracts for people who are experin programming
So dont see a problem atm.
Here is the link for marlowe.
