Is taking the government ‘bounce back loan’ permissible in Islam?
They are interest-free for 12 months and I have the intention to repay the full loan within/much earlier than that period. I believe they extended it to allow a business to repay in installments for another 10 years interest-free too.
The issue I guess is in contract where I’m guessing one has to sign to say they will start paying interest after the 1 year or 10 year period, despite having the intention to repay before that 1 year which ultimately makes the loan interest-free.
Any clarity would be appreciated.
