Asalamu alaikum,
I am a law student and have reached the stage where I am now researching firms to secure a training contract that will inshallah lead me to qualifying as a solicitor.
Recently I have been extremely worried and just generally lost on what I should do, having researched firms and seen the different practice areas I would be involved in as a trainee solicitor. A lot of these areas appear to have potential for haram dealings.
I’m at a point where I really don’t know what to do- I was set on becoming a solicitor and practising in a regional firm but now having looked into the different practice areas I would be involved in, I am doubting whether it is the correct way to proceed.
Please could you offer any guidance and advice?
