Just a question as i have gains on the back of a loan i was not aware was jaiz.
I just wanted to know if i am allowed to pass on the gains/ interest value to my local masjid for their project?

May Allah bless you.
Since interest is haram money, this should not be spent on the houses of Allah.
You can donate it to a poor person or a charity as sadaqah for the poor.
And Allah knows best!
