Apprenticeship Career

السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ.
I am planning to do an apprenticeship Insha’allah with an accountancy firm. I have been doing some research and I am aware of the problem of interest, but I’m not sure which roles would be halal for me to do. I want my rizq to be halal and I wanted some advice.

The firm I am interested in is EY and they offer apprenticeships in assurance, personal tax centre, tax, and strategy and transactions.
I don’t mind which sector I apply to as long as it will be halal and my rizq will be halal. Could you please advise me with which sectors are halal to work in please. Jazakallah

May Allah bless you.
Primarily, you should avoid duties that involves preparing bills that includes interest payments, or assisting in drafting contracts that deal with interest. Usually auditing roles is better, because you are only producing reports on what has already happened.

Secondly, you should not work in a non shariah compliant industry such as conventional banking, gambling etc.

And Allah knows best!
