I was going through the list of companies in the iShares MSCI World Islamic UCITS ETF when I came across this company: Suntory beverage & food ltd. This is a Japanese company that clearly sells spirits, beer and whisky in addition to other products. The percentage of this company in the fund is 0.05%
I am so frustrated and astonished to see it in an Islamic fund.
I have emailed them to clarify why it is on the holdings list, and my question is what to do next, having invested in it for some time? And what are your views on this?
