AsalamuAlaykum, being a recent Alimiyah graduate what are the best steps to take in order to get into the field of Islamic finance?

Congratulations on your recent graduation. The first step I would encourage anyone is to learn Fiqh al-Mu’amalat properly. That is the foundation upon which everything else is built. The stronger your understanding of and the stronger your understanding of Fiqh al-mu’amalat, the more you will be of benefit.
An Iftaa course is beneficial in that it trains you to contextual and understand the above deeper.
