Working in investment companies

I understand that working in conventional banks is generally not allowed in Islam due to their dealings and income being derived from interest.

Is there a ruling on working in a ‘permissible’ role (eg.HR) in an investment bank type of company. To be specific, I am referring to a company such as this one
